    Smog Legal 1984 Pontiac Firebird


1984 Pontiac Firebird- This car features a Custom built 350 ci power plant that is a much appreciated over the stock motor. What makes it even better is that it is smog legal. Originally this Firebird was equipped with a 2.5L I4 with 90 HP, 2.8L v6 with 105 HP or a 5.0L v8 with 145 HP. When this red Firebird was built in 1984 it came with a 150 HP motor and a 5.0L High Output motor pushing 190 HP. This particular Firebird has a 4 speed transmission and a special posi differential as well as a Currie rear end. This third generation Pontiac Firebird was different from the previous generations of Firebirds in many ways. It shared many characteristics of the Chevorlet Camaro including the engine.
