Alignments At All-Car All Car Specialists in San Gabriel has been known for it`s quality auto repair for over 30 years. We are a full service repair shop that does all the repairs on your vehicle and now will be offering vehicle wheel alignment. The purpose of a wheel alignment is simple, to keep the tires perpendicular to the ground and also parallel to the each other. The reason these adjustments are done is to extend the life of your tire and allow your car to drive straight down the road. When your vehicle is out of alignment, the tires will wear unevenly causing them to become bald on one side but still have tread on the other side. A wheel that is out of alignment will also have a steering and tracking problem that will not let your car drive straight on a flat road. Although it is not normally dangerous, it can be costly when your tires wear out quicker than normal. You may want to know what happens if you leave your alignment uncorrected. First off you will notice over time your tires will wear quickly on one side. You will also have worse gas mileage because your tires will not be rolling straight which in turn causes resistance. Driving an average of 12,000-15,000 miles a year means that you may be dragging your tires sideways up to 100 miles. Can you imagine what your tires may look like after doing that? Tires are not cheap, so to keep them lasting long it is recommended to get an alignment after you get new tires or suspension work done. If you feel your car is pulling or we notice excessive wear on the tires then a alignment can be done to correct it. While we are looking under you car, we will also have a chance to make sure all of your suspension components are safe. The roads in San Gabriel are pretty rough at times and your car will naturally track off course. So don`t complicate the problem by having your car or truck out of alignment.
